The transfer ability refers to the ratio of the engine continuous power to the rated speed.
The reduction ratio corresponds to the transfer ability, when selected, the reduction ratio should be smaller than the value in the manual
Marine gearbox model HC138 possesses the functions of reducing, ahead and astern, engaging and disengaging and bearing the propeller thrust. The reduction ratios of ahead and astern are totally the same, thus the gearbox can be coupled with all kinds of left-handed engines with the rated power ranging from 110 kW/1000 rpm to 275 kW/2500 rpm (150 hp/1000 rpm to 374 hp/2500 rpm). And it can also be matched to engines of identical rotation direction to form left or right power units for marine purpose. If to matched to right-handed engines, please contact with our company.
